NUFORM^® is a proud supplier to the US Military and Department of Defence(DOD)

The DOD engineering community has used CONFORM^® to build hundreds of structures in the continental US and internationally since 2001.  The US Army, US Air Force REDHORSE Squadrons, US Navy SeaBees and US Marines have used CONFORM for the expedient construction of barracks, clinics, latrines, community centres, schools and utility buildings.

The AFRL at Tyndall AB has conducted full scale blast experiments that demonstrated the AT/FP properties of CONFORM.  Blast events on 10 different configurations of blast walls and blast barriers, using CONFORM filled with concrete or earth. In each case, CONFORM preformed well with little or no secondary fragmentation and with enhanced blast mitigation.

The DOS/OBO has issued FE/BR Certifications to Standard SD-STD-01.01, Rev G (Amended) for seven concrete walls using CONFORM formwork. Testing by NAVFAC personnel indicated a Forced Entry Resistance up to 60 minutes and Ballistic Resistance.

CONFORM NOISE BARRIERS

NUFORM has developed three types of noise barries to suit the most common applications.  These include; a concrete filled barrier for higher sound reduction and high abuse areas, a steel reinforced barrier for typical sound reduction applications and privacy and an acoustic barrier with mineral fiberboard that provides noise absorption and sound reduction.
