The U.S. Army South (USARSO – United States Army, South) Southern Command is using CONFORM® to its Beyond the Horizon operation. Beyond the Horizon is a USARSO-planned and led annual humanitarian and civic assistance exercise.

Beyond the Horizon – Panama 2013

Beyond the Horizon 2013 – Panama is a humanitarian and civil assistance exercise sponsored by U.S. Southern Command that builds relationships between U.S. and partner nations.  The U.S. Air National Guard constructed with CONFORM® a new extension to the clinic and a dormitory at the Escobal clinic, Panama, April 19, 2013.

The U.S. Army South provided engineering and medical support to rural communities in Panama, and constructed a clinic made of CONFORM® in the town of Achiote, Colon, Panama, May 6, 2013.

Beyond the Horizon – Combat Engineer construction, El Salvador (2011)

Beyond the Horizon – Combat Engineer construction (2011) – was a civic assistance to the citizens of El Salvador. In collaboration with Salvadoran soldiers the Navy Mobile Construction, Battalion 28 equipment operator, constructed a school made of CONFORM® in the town of Tepetitan, El Salvador, April 25, 2011.

New Horizon – Haiti 2010

U.S. Southern Command asked the Louisiana National Guard to take the lead in the New Horizons mission in Haiti in response to the earthquake. Engineering projects took place in the small town of Mandrin and the city of Gonaives. Projects included: constructions of a three-room school for 350 students in Mandrin, building Lycee Louis Diaquoi, a school for girls, and K. Georges school, both in Gonaives. The projects used CONFORM, which consist of hurricane-resistant concrete walls and a steel roof.

New Horizons 2006 – Dominican Republic, Los Mirtos community in Barahona

U.S. Marines from Company A 6th Engineer Support Battalion in Eugene, Oregon, uses CONFORM® to erect the walls of 4 clinics in Los Mirtos community in Barahona, Dominican Republic during New Horizons 2006 on March 23, 2006.  The project was sponsored by the U.S. Southern Command and executed by U.S. Army South alongside the Government of the Dominican Republic.
